An innovative medical device company is seeking an experienced R&D Director to lead its research and development team.

Pozíció leírása / Job description

• Leading, motivating, and developing a team of 30 engineers in R&D and product development

• Managing full-cycle R&D projects from concept to implementation

• Overseeing product and process development, introducing new technologies

• Ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR)

• Developing and executing prototype development processes, leading validation and testing

• Enhancing laboratory testing methods and equipment

• Collaborating closely with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure successful product launch

• Managing engineering changes and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation

• Tracking project progress, preparing regular reports for senior management and clients

• Optimizing resource planning and allocation within R&D

• Providing technical support for procurement, defining technological requirements

Elvárások / Requirements

• Engineering degree 

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in R&D or product development

• Agile and project-oriented mindset, structured and result-driven approach

• Fluent English proficiency (spoken and written)

• Strong proficiency in 3D design software and IT tools

• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards
