Pozíció leírása / Job description

• Manage the company’s accounting operations, accurately posting all ledger entries and transactions (accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, depreciation, liabilities, and inventory).
• Review and verify accounting documents; maintain fixed asset records; process depreciation; conduct regular inventory checks.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and control statements.
• Prepare inputs for tax returns (corporate income tax, Innovation tax, Municipal tax).
• Communicate with tax advisors, auditors, and authorities.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities; prepare financial statements and audit documentation.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure implementation in the company’s accounting practices.
• Prepare financial reports for management.

Elvárások / Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with comprehensive accounting responsibilities.
• English Proficiency – Minimum Level: B2 (written and spoken).
• Advanced knowledge of Hungarian accounting and tax regulations (VAT, corporate income tax).
• Strong experience with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) is desirable.
• Perfect knowledge of Hungarian Accounting Standards, and good knowledge of IFRS.
• High accuracy, independence, and responsible work approach.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (reports, pivot tables).
• Analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Certified accountant (preferably registered) is a must.
