...- Lead the timely and accurate monthly accounting and closing processes for entities across the EMEA region, ensuring strict adherence to company policies, guidelines, and the established closing schedule.
- Oversee the timely preparation and filing of statutory and tax returns, including annual returns, direct tax filings, and other key reports for smaller regional entities.
- Take the lead in managing statutory audits for smaller entities, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors and accounting service providers. For larger entities, you
will collaborate closely with the Accounting & Reporting Manager to ensure smooth audit processes and resolve any auditor queries. - Ensure the accuracy and completeness of US GAAP to local GAAP reconciliations, maintaining proper documentation for any timing or permanent differences.
- Leverage your expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance to document and clearly communicate findings, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounting processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and overall financial performance.
- Provide support for corporate income tax audits across the region, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and compliance.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed, offering valuable contributions to team initiatives and continuous improvements.
Elvárások / Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, or an international equivalent.
- 5-6 years of accounting experience in an international multinational company, Big 4 accounting firm, or a combination.
- Expertise in accounting and financial controls, with a strong command of US GAAP and EMEA statutory standards.
- Proven experience managing accounting operations, including statutory filings, tax returns, and audits across multiple entities.
- Skilled in identifying financial challenges and driving continuous process improvements, everaging Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP; experience with Power BI, Blackline, OneSource, or similar tools is highly valued.
- Fluent in English, with additional European language skills a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset, focused on problem-solving and a risk-based approach to decision-making.
- Collaborative team player, adaptable to dynamic environments, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively wit colleagues at all levels.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of driving team performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
